Bio
U.S. youth international defender Ayo Oke joined Denver Summit FC ahead of the club’s inaugural 2026 NWSL season, arriving as a Liga MX Femenil champion and one of the top young fullbacks in the game. Oke was acquired via transfer from CF Pachuca Femenil after a standout first professional season in Mexico.
Oke began her professional career with Pachuca in 2025, making 31 appearances across all competitions and helping the club capture the 2025 Liga MX Femenil Clausura title, the first league championship in team history. She also played a key role during Pachuca’s 2025 Apertura campaign, where the club finished second in the regular season. Known for her athleticism and attacking ability from the back, Oke scored her first professional goal during the Clausura title run.
Before turning pro, Oke played collegiately at UC Berkeley and UCLA, earning multiple All-Conference honors. At Cal, she was named to the All-Pacific Region First Team and tied for the Pac-12 lead in assists during the 2022 season. After transferring to UCLA, she started every match in 2023, earned Second Team All-Pac-12 honors for a second consecutive year, and contributed to 11 shutouts. Internationally, Oke has represented the United States at every youth level from U-15 through U-23, winning the 2022 CONCACAF U-20 Championship and appearing at the 2022 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
