Denver Summit FC Signs Stanford Standout Jasmine Aikey

Denver Summit FC announced today the signing of forward Jasmine Aikey ahead of the club’s inaugural season in the National Women’s Soccer League in 2026. Aikey joins Summit FC following a decorated collegiate career at Stanford University and brings creativity, composure, and attacking versatility to Denver’s attack.

“I’m incredibly excited to join Denver Summit FC and be part of building something new from the ground up,” said Aikey. “This club’s vision and commitment to excellence really stood out to me, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to take the next step in my career with a team that believes in the future of the game. I’m ready to get to work and help set the standard in Denver.”

Aikey played four seasons at Stanford University, where she established herself as one of the most dynamic forwards in college soccer. She was an ACC Champion and ACC Tournament Champion in 2025 after previously winning a Pac-12 title in 2022, while helping her teams reach three NCAA College Cup appearances from 2023–25. Over four seasons at Stanford University, Aikey made more than 90 appearances for the Cardinal, scoring 43 goals and adding 29 assists across all competitions, and was a key contributor to Stanford’s 2023 NCAA Women’s College Cup championship run. Individually, she was named the 2025 TopDrawerSoccer Player of the Year, earned MAC Hermann Trophy finalist honors, was a two-time Honda Sport Award for Soccer finalist, and a two-time United Soccer Coaches All-America First Team selection, in addition to receiving multiple All-Pac-12 honors.

Known for her vision, technical ability, and versatility in the attacking third, Aikey consistently ranked among the national leaders in assists and chances created while competing in one of the country’s top collegiate programs.

Denver Summit FC has signed Aikey to a two-year contract through the 2027 season, with a mutual option for 2028.

“Jasmine is an intelligent, creative forward who has performed at a very high level in one of the best collegiate environments in the country,” said Curt Johnson, General Manager of Denver Summit FC. “She has a great feel for the game, the ability to unlock defenses, and the work rate to impact matches on both sides of the ball. We believe she has the tools to be an important part of our attack as we build this club for the long term.”

Aikey is the latest addition to Denver Summit FC’s growing roster as the club continues preparations for its first NWSL season in 2026.
