Denver Summit FC announced today that they have acquired 21 year old Cameroon International Naomi Eto from Paris Saint-Germain for an undisclosed transfer fee. Eto has signed a contract through the 2027 NWSL season, with a team option for 2028. She will join the Summit in the coming weeks, pending the receipt of her P-1 visa.
Eto joins the Summit on the heels of a triumphant campaign at the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON). As a fixture in the starting XI, Eto scored a crucial goal and provided two assists—including a match-securing goal in the final against Malawi—to lead Cameroon to their first-ever WAFCON championship and lock in their qualification for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
The dynamic attacker brings valuable European experience to Colorado. After launching her career with Cameroonian club Amazone FAP, Eto caught international attention following standout performances at the 2024 U-20 Women’s World Cup that saw her score three goals in four matches. Captaining Cameroon to the Round of 16 in their first-ever U-20 Women’s World Cup appearance, Eto was awarded the 2023-2024 Female Cameroonian Ballon d’Or.
Eto was signed by Paris Saint-Germain midway through the 2025 Season, following eight appearances for French club En Avant Guingamp. Eto completed a loan spell with Italian Serie A side Sassuolo, where she made 22 appearances, scoring three goals and one assist.
