Midfielder Yuna McCormack joined Denver Summit FC ahead of the club’s inaugural 2026 NWSL season, signing a three-year deal after a championship-winning collegiate career. A former Florida State National Champion and U.S. youth national team player, McCormack brings intelligence, versatility, and two-way impact to Denver’s midfield.

McCormack most recently starred at Florida State University, where she played a key role in the Seminoles’ 2025 NCAA National Championship run. During the 2025 season, she appeared in 22 matches with 20 starts, recording six goals, including two game winners, and three assists. Her performances earned TopDrawerSoccer Preseason Best XI Second Team honors, placement on the Preseason and Midseason Top 100 Player lists, and CSC Academic All-District recognition.

Before Florida State, McCormack spent two seasons at the University of Virginia, earning ACC All-Freshman Team honors and multiple academic accolades. Internationally, she has represented the United States across several youth national team levels from U-14 through U-20, bringing high-level experience and a championship mentality as Denver builds its first NWSL roster.
