This Privacy Policy sets forth what personal and usage information we collect, how that information is used and maintained, to whom and under what circumstances we may disclose it, and how we protect it. This Privacy Policy applies to personal information we collect when you interact with us online (e.g., through the Site) or offline (e.g., at one of our events) or otherwise interact with us as described below. Our online and offline services and interactions with you are collectively referred to as “Services” in this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy also sets forth how to contact us if you have any questions about privacy of your information. 

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. This Privacy Policy is meant to help you understand our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information in connection with the Services, as well as inform you of your rights and choices about the use of your information.

  1. Types of Information We Collect

When you interact with us, we may collect personal information directly from you, automatically through your use of the Services, and from third parties. 

(A) Information You Provide
We collect personal information from you when you submit it to us, including when you register on the Site, participate in online contests, surveys, or games, sign-up for a newsletter or subscription, place an order for merchandise, contact us, or purchase tickets to one of our events. This personal information may include the following:

  • Mailing addresses or billing addresses

  • Phone numbers

(B) Information Collected Automatically
When you use the Services, we may automatically collect certain types of information about your computer or device. Examples of information we may collect automatically include:

  • Information about your mobile device such as the type and model, operating system (e.g., iOS or Android), carrier name, mobile browser (e.g., Chrome, Safari), applications using our Site, and identifiers assigned to your device, such as its iOS Identifier for Advertising (“IDFA”), Android Advertising ID (“AAID”), or unique device identifier (a number uniquely given to your device by your device manufacturer), sometimes referred to as a mobile carrier ID.
  • Location information, such as your zip code or the approximate geographic area provided by your Internet service provider (“ISP”).
  • Information about your use of the Services collected through as “cookies” and “web beacons” (which are also called clear GIFs, pixel tags, tracking pixels or just ‘pixels’). “Cookies” are small data files that are stored by your web browser when you interact with a website. “Web beacons” are small graphic images (usually invisible) that can be embedded in content and ads on a webpage that track usage of the Site and effectiveness of communication.

(C) Information Collected Through Third Parties
From time to time, we may use or augment the personal information we have about you with information obtained from other sources, such as public databases, social media platforms and other third parties.

    We may use information about you for purposes described in this Privacy Policy or as disclosed to you.  For example, we may use information about you to: 
  • Provide, maintain and improve our Services;
  • Process your orders and payments;
  • Respond to your comments, questions and requests;
  • Send you a confirmation email when you make a purchase or register for an event; 
  • Conduct internal research and development and make business decisions about current and future product and service offerings;

  • Monitor usage of the Services for compliance with our terms of use and the law; 
  • Contact you with updates, newsletters and other informational and promotional materials;
  • Market Colorado Women’s Soccer Coalition LLC, its products and services, and those of our affiliated companies; and

We may aggregate and/or de-identify data about users of our Services and use it for any purpose, including product and service development and improvement activities. To the extent we deidentify any data originally based on personal information, we will maintain and use such data only in deidentified form and will not attempt to reidentify the data.

  1. How We May Share Your Information

We may disclose personal information collected from and about you as follows: 

  • With our affiliates and NWSL partners
  • With vendors, consultants, contractors and other service providers who carry out work on our behalf and improve the products and services they provide to us (e.g., companies that assist us with web hosting, shipping and delivery, payment processing, fraud prevention, customer service, analytics, marketing and advertising); 
  • As necessary if we believe that there has been a violation of the Site terms of use or of our rights or the rights of any third party; 
  • To respond to legal process (such as a search warrant, subpoena or court order) and provide information to law enforcement agencies or in connection with an investigation on matters related to public safety, as permitted by law, or otherwise as required by law; 

In the event that our business or substantially all of its assets are acquired, your personal information may be one of the transferred assets; and 

  • With your consent or at your direction.

We may also disclose aggregate or de-identified data to third parties for any purpose permitted under applicable law.   We do not share SMS opt-in consent with any third parties for solicitation purposes.

  1. Your Choices and Controls
    You have various choices with respect to the collection of and certain of our uses of the personal information we collect from you on or through the Site or Services.

(A) Opting Out of Direct Marketing and Other Advertising
If you have agreed to receive communications or solicitations from us, and you later change your mind, you can revise your preferences by contacting us at the address listed above, or via email at info@Denversummitfc.com. You also may opt out of receiving all future promotional e-mails from us by clicking on an opt-out or “unsubscribe” link within the promotional e-mail you receive. Please understand that if you opt out of receiving promotional correspondence from us, we may still contact you in connection with your other relationship, activities, transactions and communications with us. You may also opt out of our SMS messages by texting “STOP” or another applicable keyword to the short code applicable to the particular SMS Service (as further described below).

(B) “Do Not Track”

Your browser may offer you a “Do Not Track” option, which allows you to signal to operators of websites and web applications and services that you do not want them to track your online activities. Because there currently is not an industry or legal standard for recognizing or honoring DNT signals, the Site and Services do not support Do Not Track requests at this time.

We do not “sell” or “share” for cross-contextual behavioral advertising (as those terms are defined under applicable local law) the categories of personal information described below. We also do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than permitted under applicable local law.

(B) Retaining Your Personal Information

We will retain your personal information for as long as needed or permitted in light of the purpose(s) for which it was obtained and as outlined in this Privacy Policy. The criteria used to determine our retention periods include: (i) the length of time we have an ongoing relationship with you and provide the Services to you; (ii) whether there is a legal obligation to which we are subject; or (iii) whether retention is advisable in light of our legal position (such as in regard to the enforcement of the Site terms of use, applicable statutes of limitations, litigation or regulatory investigations).

(C) Your Rights In the US, Generally

Subject to certain exceptions and depending on where you live, you may have the right to make the following requests, at no charge:

(D) Exercising Your Rights
You may submit requests to delete, correct, access a copy and/or know personal information we have collected about you by accessing our webform at www.Denversummitf.com/pages/privacy-request. You will be asked to provide certain personal information when submitting your request, including your relationship with Colorado Women’s Soccer Coalition LLC, first and last name, email address, telephone number and postal address, in order for us to determine if your information is in our systems.

(E) Request Verification

Upon receiving your request, we will need to verify your identity to determine you are the same person about whom we have the information in our system. We will only use personal information provided in your request to verify your identity or authority to make the request. However, if we cannot verify your identity from the information already maintained by us, we may request that you provide additional information for the purposes of verifying your identity and for security or fraud-prevention purposes.

If you submit the request through an authorized agent, we may need to collect additional information to verify your identity before processing your request and the agent will need to provide a written and signed permission from you to submit such request on your behalf.

(F) Appeals

Under certain US state data protection laws, if we decline to take action regarding your request, you may appeal our decision by emailing us at info@Denversummitfc.com.

    We use security measures designed to protect the personal information in our possession. However, no method of transmission or storage of data is 100% secure and we will not be responsible for any damage that results from a security breach of data, the unauthorized access to or use of information, the theft, destruction, or inadvertent disclosure of your personal information, or any other disclosures out of our control. 
  2. Links to Other Services
    The Site and Services may contain links to other websites and online services. When you link to such other sites and services (including by means of clicking on hyperlinks, logos, widgets, banners or advertisements), you become subject to their terms of use and privacy policies posted thereon and/or applicable thereto. Because we cannot control the activities of third parties, please note that we are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites. We encourage you to be aware of this when you click on a link and leave the Site, and to read the privacy policies of every website that collects personal information from you.
  3. Changes to this Privacy Policy
    This Privacy Policy replaces any earlier version. You should review this Privacy Policy periodically as we may modify it from time to time. If we change our Privacy Policy in the future, we will post the changed Privacy Policy on the homepage of the Site and other locations where the policy was previously posted. You will be able to determine what version of the Privacy Policy applies by the “Effective Date” placed under the title. Where consistent with applicable law, your continued use of the Services after we have changed the Privacy Policy signifies your acceptance of the revised terms. Under certain circumstances (e.g., with respect to certain material changes to this Privacy Policy), we may also elect to notify you through additional means, such as posting a notice on the front page of the Site or by means of an e-mail.
  4. Children’s Data
    Our Site and Services do not knowingly collect, use, or disclose personal information from children under the age of 18 or as otherwise defined by local law without prior parental consent, except as permitted under applicable law. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under the age of 18 without verification of parental consent, we will endeavor to delete that information.
