Denver Summit FC is proud to celebrate this historic day of liberation, remembrance, and community. We join our neighbors in reflecting on the journey toward freedom and honoring the enduring spirit of Black Americans.<\/p>\n<p>Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day, marks a vital moment in our nation&#8217;s history. From the historic communities of Dearfield to the vibrant legacy of Five Points, Black Coloradans have fundamentally shaped the progress and cultural fabric of our state. This day serves as a powerful reminder of the resilience that defines the Black experience in Colorado and across the country.<\/p>\n<p>At Denver Summit FC, we believe in the power of community and the importance of fostering a culture where every player, family, and individual feels a deep sense of belonging. We recognize the brilliance of Black athletes who continue to redefine excellence on and off the pitch.
